I have a Kenmore Elite Dryer. It cuts off during timed cycle. It might run for 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or 30 minutes before it cuts off. If you press the start button once it cuts off, it will only run while you press the button in. I have to turn the timed cycle to off, turn the dial back around to a time and press the start button.
When the buzzer end of cycle is turned on, it buzzes when it cuts off as if it has reached the end of cycle.

Any help is appreciated. :)

I've checked the exhaust hose. It is clean, and is not obstructed in any way. The dryer heats fine. Occassionally, when it cuts off the timer has advanced to the off position prematurely.

Please post some help.

Thanks,
Teckie

Hi techey,
- off the top of my head it sounds like a timer problem, but something's nagging at me about the PTS cct. I'll look into it and try to get back later today on this. Post model# in meantime.

Hi Techey,
- I remember, I think your problem is related to the even heat control board. This a cct card in the console at the right end (facing it).

Do it Right - Do it once.
