I broke some plumbing behind my GE SpaceSaver dishwasher (don't ask...I can break steel) and I need to un-install the dishwasher so that I can get to the plumbing. I don't know where to begin on this project aside from turning off the electricity to the dishwasher.

Please advise via private e-mail to elliescott1013@prodigy.net

Thank you,

TenorScott, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
Turn off the electric to the dishwasher. Remove the front bottom panel and look underneath. You should see the water supply line (usually on the left side towards the front. Turn off the water supply from wherever it is supplied. Disconnect the drainline that goes to the pipe under the sink. Disconnect the nut at the water inlet on the DW. Pull out the waterline. There are normally two screws that hold the DW under the countertop. Right above the control panel. You should now be able to pull the DW out. Be careful not to put a heavy strain on the electric supply line. Just pull it out far enough to get to the wires to disconnect them or unplug it if thats the type you have. If you look before pulling it out, you MAY be able to disconnect the electric before you move the machine. Good luck.
