We just bought a house and I want to change the color of the kitchen cabinets. They are new. Do you have any idea of how to..step by step?
My friend dont want me to do it. She said they turn out to be with a thick finish...Is that so?

If you want to paint the cabinets, you can clean them with spic and span or mineral spirits to remove all the grease, grit, and grime; prime with a top quality primer such as Zinsser 123, then paint with a top quality paint. I recommend two finish coats for durability. The finish won't look thick, unless the paint is applied too thick.
Hope this helps.
