Need advice....have a "gold medallion" (all electric) home from the 60's - which was converted to Gas FHA in the early 80's. Finding out that the price for gas vs electric is very close. Children have bad allergies and I think going back to all electric would be better.......any info on new electric units? Each room still has the original thermostat and floor board heating unit.

Hey that sounds like up in UE country. The electric is fine but if you want to check go to

http://www.warmair.net and compare fuel for just where you are if electric is trhe way to go go for a heat pump.
