I would like to know if I can refinish a coffee table I have with a wood veneer top. The top is finished with a very shiny finish.(Sorry, I don't know what the finish is called). The top has a burn mark in it and the edges are scuffed from people using it as a footrest. Can someone give me some advice? Is this piece worth saving, or should I just forget about it.
