My DSC632 PC1555MX is configured to call my cell phone using the Pager feature. It works great! Now that the alarm panel is connected to the phone line, I was wondering how I could prevent unauthorized telephone access to my alarm system? I see [406] (Number of Rings to Answer On) can be set to 000, but the manual is not clear if the panel will answer immediately or will not answer at all. Are there any other settings I should consider to enhance security?

Thanks in advance!

I don't think you really have anything to worry about there - That section of the programming is talking about using a computer to dial into your alarm for programming - which it can't do without an access code [404]. change it from the default to whatever you like and you should be OK. Also try changing [406] to 0 rings and then ring the panel using a mobile phone or from another phone line to see if it will pickup or not.
