What is the best method and paint for painting the inside of a metal outside door (the front door) that has already been painted?
Thanks!

I can't do best, but I can recommend durable. Oil base Industrial Enamel is durable and so is acrylic automotive body paint. The best method is spraying. I doubt that you have a spray rig and booth, so after wet sanding, apply brush coats of Industrial Enamel and wet sand lightly with
600-800 grit wet or dry sandpaper between thin coats. And for the final coat use automotive rubbing compound. When you're done you should have something that resembles an automotive finish and is as durable as the coating on the dividers in a public bathroom.
