Kenmore washer's motor runs fine but it won't drain or move on to spin. Suspect the pump may be bad. Rear panel seems complicated to remove- hoses, etc. Can you lay this machine on side or front to service? Thanks.

Hi Jud, welcome to DIY Forums,
- You didn't mention model #, so tell us if it's a direct or belt drive model. Belt drives generally have a removable panel on back, direct drives mostly don't. If it's belt drive, then possibly you have awigwag problem ( not shifting into spin/drain mode) If it's direct, then a pump problem is possible. but it may just be blocked.
Do it Right - Do it once.
