I am remodeling a house and it's time to replace my water filtration system. I have a 250 foot well that fills a 3000 gallon cement holding tank with an ozone attached to it. I need recommendations as to the top of the line and can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone. I have done some online research and I keep hearing about the "Rhino". Do you know anything about this particular system? Do you have any other suggestions. It is a 4 bdrm, 3.5 bath home. Kitchen has under the counter culligan osmosis and the main running into the house has two very old cylinder tanks that culligan claims is their's from years ago. I need advice, I know nothing about filtering water as we have just purchased this home. Plumber is ready to install and needs me to make a decision. Help!

What is it you are looking for? What is a Rhino, a softener a filter? What do you want it for and how much of it is in the water etc.? What is the plumber wanting to install?

We need a whole house filter system, I don't know if we need a softner. Do most people on well water have a softner? Rhino is a whole house filter.

A filter to remove what and how much of it? You have to know that before you can buy any filter. If the water is hard, then you should hae a softener to prevent the hidden expenses hard water costs.
Since you have a cistern, you may want to clean it.
