I emptied some dishwater in my sink and forgot to get the dishrag out. turned on the disposal and got it jammed pretty good. I was able to pull about 3/4 of it out but the remaind plus a string piece is still stuck. Will the allen wrench work? I went to another site, and copy paste a diagram and it suggests rotateing the masher plate.

Hi desertbluis,
- I would remove the rubber sound baffle and try to catch the string and remove it with long nose pliers. Then try the allen wrench. :cool:
