I have A Rheem HP. For about two months now, the inside unit will run constantly. I can hear the outside unit turn off, but the air handler continues to run, many times for hours. When this happens, turning the t-stat down will not turn the blower off.

Reading another thread in the forum, I noticed that someone suggested to give the air handler a good slap which I did, and the blower cut off. Do I have a bad relay? Where is the relay located in relationship to the fuse panel? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey you got it right just hit it hard with your hand. Look at the wire schematic this will kind of tell you where the blower relay is.Get one just like it or take it with you so they will have one that will match it. Be sure and turn all power off when you go into the furnace.
