I have a 27" Zenith tv (MODEL # SJ7773BG) When I plug it in the wall and try to turn it on, it just makes a load "CLICKING SOUND" every second.

Brief history: T.V. was working fine until I plugged the AC cord into the back of my cable box. When I turned on my cable box which should now power my T.V. as well. The T.V. turned on and shut back off permanently. I then plugged the AC cord directly into the wall outlet, now the T.V. is just making a constent clicking sound.

Does anyone have any idea what part I should replace?? Or anything I should try??

Thanks in advanced. :)

Something in the power circuit. If you know what you're getting into opening up your tv...

Hopefully a fuseable resistor, they are usally like 2 Ohms or something and there big ceramic blocks. If they are bad, it will read as an open circuit with an ohm meter.

You killed it by supply it with too little power.

Thanks Kuhurdler
But I had a friend check it out and it turned out to be the power supply unit. Which turns out to be pretty expensive for a Zenith. Might just pitch it to the curb. :(
