water inside chimney clean out

Any sugestions. I went down the basement to clean out my fireplace and furnace clean out and found water leaking down the wall from the furnace chimney clean out. there was quiet a bit of water on the floor. I cleaned it up and dryed out the clean out and two days later found the same problem. never seen this before? Jetpettinato
