We have a raised ranch with a lower-level bathroom we are remodeling. We're looking at laminate and engr. hardwood. The bathroom is dry and currently has vinyl flooring, which will stay. What are pros and cons regarding laminate vs. engr. hardwood in a bathroom?

Lam is cheaper, so you won't be out too much when water sits on the floor.
