Electronic Alarms and Home Security Devices - ADT Touch screen Keypad Question

Hello All. I asked this question before and got no reply's...lets see if anyone now knows about this. I Have the ademco/honeywell/adt touchscreen keypad. I noticed in the demo mode or the honeywell website the X10 light buttons under the lighting menu have names assigned to them instead of "output XX" ---all my x10 options under lighting have "output XX" beside them.. i want them to say "Outside light" Or "garage light". Anyone know how to program that?

That info's going to be in the installation instructions for the keypad. I can't give you specifics. I've never handled that keypad.

Do you guys know where I could download or find a copy of the setup instructions... The installer did not leave me one.

I dont see where it tells me how to lable the output's under lighting. ADT doesnt know... no one seems to know!!! If anyone finds out please let me know :(

The user manual is not going to tell you - you need the installer manual for your system, which is why I said:

Oh i'm sorry.... I didnt catch on. I have the safewatch pro 3000 (vista 20P?) I was looking at the installer menu... A little confused... If you could help that'd be great :)

you asked a question a while back regarding programming the output keys under lighting. I have the same touch key pad model 6270.
I have all the user and installer manuals for the keypad and the 20P series system. I can't find a way to lable these keys. If you found away or if I can help you with copies of the manuals please let me know. Also have you hooked up any of the X-10 controllers to your system?

Hey there... I do have 4 x10 outputs... I have not been able to name them yet. I can't figure it out! Everything i've setup w/ x-10 works great. Naming the outputs is the only issue I have! It's annoying if you ask me!

all you have to do is go into custom name programming setup custom names and then go into the output section and when asked if you want to name say yes and custom names
