Would like to have my builder replace the whirlpool tub space with
a doorless shower of glass blocks....I think. Does anyone have
any experience with it? How much space would it take for the
doorless shower? I may not have enough space.....but it would
replace the regular show and whirlpool......so maybe.
Also, any experience with glass blocks?
Would this cause me to lose value in resale on house in future
as there would be no tub in Master bath..only doorless shower?
There is a tub in the hall by front bedroom...its a full bath.
Thanks for ideas.

You should have plenty of room to do the doorless shower. I guess, it just depends on how much space you want in the shower. Be creative and have fun. I actually did a round glassblock shower in the middle of a bathroom that had some lighted blocks. It was very neat and very big. I love glass block and say go for it. I couldn't help with the resale value thing but it you do a good job and do it right, I can't see how it would hurt the value too much. That's my opinion though. Have fun, don't forget a shower seat. Shaving legs without one is more difficult.
Good luck
