Hello,

Two stroke bikes that are adjusted correctly will not idle other than when first started with the choke on. My son has an 03 CR 85 and we just sold his 96 CR 80. Neither bike will idle after warm.
If you watched the Winter X Games last night you might have noticed that the MX Freestylers would gas the bike every couple of seconds while in the chute. This is becuase their bikes will not idle. Their mechanics usually do this for them while they get their goggles situated.

Tip: Be sure to warm the bike up before extreme revving as this can be detrimental to the top end.
Wear a helmet and riding boots and keep the rubber side down.

Regards,
Zazoos

Many racing bikes do not even have an idle circuit in the carb. They were built to run wide open.
