Phillips Projection takes 20 min to startup.

I have a phillips 62" projection TV, when you first turn it on,..you get nothing for about 5 minutes, :( ..at this time,..you can bearly make out a little screen,.about the size of a 19" TV,..over the course of 20 minutes,..it goes back to normal,..and looks good.
i haven't bought any repair manuals for it yet, i was hoping to find a drawing on line when it comes to identifying the components. :mask:

any ideas? i was reading of a similar problem, use the ol' can o' freeze,..is this a good start?
