My kitchen floor is sagging in one cornor. That part of my house sits on a crawl space. How do I go about jacking it up to level it out? I do understand that i need a post and to turn it up slowly over a long period of time. What I don't know is what type of post to get and how to set it up to jack it up properly. I really don't have any money to hire a professional so I would like to be able to do this myself. Any help would be great.

majesticgriffin,
It's best to get a professional to do this. I realize the costs may not be affordable right now but I would wait until you can.
This is not a project that I suggest as a do-it-yourself project. Although others here may be so hasty to advise you othewise.
This is too big a gamble on trying to do it without some on-site guidance. I would make some calls and get their opinion on what you really need done and what will be effected by doing so.
Good Luck!
