I just got one of those Dayton 5600 watt electric heaters for my 2 car garage. My garage generally stays about 10 degrees warmer than the outside, up here in NJ it's been like anywhere from -10 to 15 degrees outside on average this month. I want to bring my garage up to about 50-60 degrees to make it workable to be inside..
anyhow, I have the heater right now just sitting on a small table about 4 feet off the ground in the corner of my garage. Is this a good place for it for effective heating? or does it really need to be used someplace else in the garage for the best heating? This is the heater: http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/productdetail.jsp?xi=xi&ItemId=1613541217&ccitem=
