I have low water pressure in my upstairs shower. To increase the water flow from the shower head I removed the piece that regulates the pressure. On my old shower head it was a simple task to remove the flow regulator on my new Moen shower head it seems much more difficult. Any suggestions?

wendog, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
The new laws for regulating water consumption has some of the manufacturers making it harder to overide by removing regulators. 2-1/2 gallon per minute is the rule. I have found that Water-pic showerheads with multiple spray adjustments compensate for lower flow. Not muck else can be done.
