Good Morning!
I have a Speed Queen Electric dryer that sounds like someone threw a brick in there. Model: AE5413W, Serial # S65422797C
My question is do I have to completely disassemble the dryer to get to the idler pully and rollers in the rear of the machine? I took off the front door/panel, and it appears that the side and rear panels are one piece holding up the drum. Any suggestions? I would like to tackle this myself. Any links to dryer repair diagrams would be very helpful.
thank you for this informative forum.

Hi grinch, and welcome to DIY Forums,-
- It would appear that you have to remove the front bulkhead and drum to get in the back of that model. you may have to reach in under the drum to release the belt tensioner, and repeat that in reverse to re=attach the belt. In some cases it may be necessary to remove the air tunnel, (usually only held with 1or2 screws).

thanks for the info
took of the front panel, then the top
removed the drum and found that a washer from a rear roller had
crack and fallen off. this was the cause of the noise.
thanks again
