I believe I have a bad wireless window sensor. At first, it was giving me the low battery warning. I replaced the battery and it still gave the warning. Thinking that maybe I bought a bad battery I traded batteries with another sensor and still got the error. Then that message went away magically.

A month later we started getting a "trouble with sensor 11" message every 12 hours. Check the sensor and couldn't find anything wrong. So I thought I would delete the sensor and then add it back to essentially reset it. Successfully deleted it (and solved the error message problem every 12 hours) but couldn't add it back in. This kind of tells me that the command unit cannot sense sensor 11 anymore and it is bad.

I looked online for a replacement and found : MCT302 - Visonic Wireless Doow/Window Transmitter at this website - http://www.homesecuritystore.com/detail_pages/mct302.htm

Would this be a good replacement. Or should I just go to ADT and buy one?

Thanks,

Jim :gmorning:

Nope, you need the ITI wireless transmitter. Model 60-362 operating at 319.5 mhz.
