I have a Mitsubishi TV model #CS-27EX1. The picture will not sync up and has vertical roll (bottom to top) until it is on for about 15 minutes where it will finally lock and the picture is good. Could there be a bad capacitor or some kind of leaky component inthe vertical section? There aren't any adjustments on the outside of the TV like the older ones had so there isn't much I can do with it. Any ideas what the problem may be?

Thanks for the information kuhurdler. I looked at a website on google for the PIP problem and the techassist website had a solution to remove the PIP module and connect a 4.7 uf to pins 9 and 11 on the connector on the main board and a .01 uf capacitor to pins 7 and 9 in the same connector while leaving the PIP module disconnected. I tried doing that and all I got were red and blue dashes across the screen. I haven't checked for leaky caps yet but do you have any other ideas?

Thanks for your tips Kuhurdler. I checked the sheet with the directions and it had a mistake on it. I did what you suggested and it didn't rool anymore however now it seems there is a pincushion problem or at least it kind of looks like it. The sides of the picture form an hour glass pattern which continually goes from hardly there to about 2 inches in on each side. I tried putting the 4.7uf back in just to see what happened and it didn't seem to do much. I was going to grab a bunch of caps and keep putting in new values but do you think I'm barking up the wrong tree?
