JVC XL-F108 CD Changer Problems

I have a JVC XL-F108 5 disc CD changer. It will play CDs just fine, but the sound comes out of only the right side speakers. When I switch my receiver to “radio”, it plays on both sides so the receiver is not to blame. I switched the RCA cables and those are not the culprit either. When I turned on the CD changer, played a CD and used a voltmeter from the RCA outputs, only the right side had any readings. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

connected and a CD playing, try wiggling the jack for the left side. If the sound works, then it's probably a loose connection a inside the unit where the jack connects....which should be an easy fix. Otherwise, you'll need remove the cover and do some troubleshooting, but I don't know anything about that part of it.
