Does anyone know the best way to lay the moisture barrier through doorways? How do you leave it with a large overlap on the wall?
Also, when you complete the project do you cut down the overlap of moisture barrier on the wall before putting in the floorboards. My installation instructions say to overlap onto the wall at least 2 inches ... I can understand leaving some overlap under the base boards ... but 2 inches would stick out!
TIA, Tina

Don't kill yourself worrying about it. Your suppose to leve it up the walls, place your base or ¼ round over it, and use a razor to cut it flush with the top of the trim, and then caulk the trim.
I don't see it making a big difference. As long as it directs the vapors out away from the installation, it is doing it's job.
