Viewed a show the other day on DIY network installing the Caretaker Plus EZ wireless home security system. Am having difficulty finding the product. Google search's have been futile. Anybody have a clue where to find this home system & what if any is the feedback on this product.

That's interesting, I've never heard of the CareTaker Plus EZ - but, I have a feeling I might know what it is.

Recently, GE bought-out ITI/Interlogix, Kalatel, System Sensor, ESL, and many other security product lines. The CareTaker Plus is an old ITI system.

Well, when GE acquired these companies, they decided that some of the security systems should be dumbed-down and mass marketed - through retail locations such as Circuit City and home improvement stores.

The CareTaker Plus is not exactly a great choice in systems to do this with, and seeing as how it's been discontinued, I wouldn't imagine they would take the CareTaker Plus and turn it into a mass market retail product. So, I'm thinking maybe it's a Simon-type system? Or similar product that has been mass marketed.

Personally, I think you would be much better off buying a Simon 3 or Concord Express system from a known reliable source. There are many online, but just make sure you are getting the service and support you need.

Good luck!
