I live in a townhouse and want to add a ventless fireplace. I have been reading a lot of negative reports on gas ventless fireplaces. Can you let me know if they are dangerous and if so if a gel fireplace would be a good alternative. Do the gel fireplaces have the same visual effect as a gas one?
