Well, I'm just having a bouse built and in one of the rooms, there is only a ceiling fan. I want to add a total of 3 sconces and 2 track lighting outlets on the ceiling. I want it professionally done. How much do you think I'm looking at for an electrician to come in and do the work? I have to wait until we close on the house before making a move. But just kinda want to see what I'm looking at. I might have to hold off and nix the idea.

Hard to say with the ceiling fan, the model you have installed there may have a light kit available for it, but that's not a definite. Track lighting isn't all that difficult to install, but pulling the wiring thru finished walls can be a real pain. In short, if the house isn't finished yet, it'll be cheaper to do it now than later. Labor rates vary quite abit depending upon your location, so if you have to havethis done as a retrofit, best bet is to call 2 or 3 licensed electrical contractors in your area for estimates.
