hey,all,i have a frigidaire "gallery-professional series" electric range. the control panel shows "locked",as if in self cleaning mode,at random times.have tried turning power off for a period of time and running self cleaning mode as suggested by there help line,to no real effect.when in this mode,oven does not work.tough on a family of 8. do i need to replace a control panel part? is this fairly simple to do? i am wrench proficiant.also when in this mode,oven door locks.thanks,peace,chuck. :)

- I can't think of anything other than the control panel that would cause that. I'll have to get back to you later on this one :confused:

hey,nomind,do you have any idea where else i might be able to get info. on this problem? any help you could give would be appreciated. don't want to call a service tech. if it's just a replacement part.i'm quite capable of doing that.thanks,peace,chuck. :)
