I recently replaced a ceiling light. I connected the wires exactly as the previous light fixture. However, I can't seem to get the light fixture to work. I did replace the old light fixture, which was controlled by a dimmer switch, with a regular 75 watt light bulb fixture. Is there a special light bulb that I need to use with the dimmer switch? I didn't replace the dimmer switch.
Thanks! :o

No, there's no special bulb for a dimmer. We need more details to spot the problem. You say you connected it as the old fixture was connected, but please detail what that was. Tell us all the wires and all the connections in the box.
It's also possible that you fried the dimmer, especially if you ever made a mistake during this project that tripped the breaker.
