What is the best way to repair wall corners where the plaster has chipped?

For small chips I would just use some spackling compound, apply it with a drywall knife or putty knife. Fill the chips and try to smooth as much as possible. Allow it to dry & then sand with fine paper to make it smooth. You will probably have to spot primer and repaint the area to match up with the rest of the wall. HTH
