Are brands of lighting fixtures interchangable

We have commercial electric lighting fixture- recessed. We are looking for the trim and it seems halo is the only with decent pricing on the trim. Can we buy halo hoping it would work in commercial electric?

I don't know the answer to your question, but, in my area, Commercial Electric and Halo are both sold at Home Depot, with the CE stuff less expensive. If you go to Home Depot, you can probably play with the display models and try it to see what fits.
