Hello.
I nedd some guidance in this project.
I have a shower with built in surrond and want to remove the shower to make room for a tub.
I want to use the drain that was there for the shower and right now my house is built on a slab.
What are my steps to make this possible.

Thanks for your input in this

Step One is to check with your Building Inspection Department for local code, permit and inspection requirements.
You have the hot and cold supply lines there, but the problem may be matching the tub drain up with the shower drain. It probably won't, and you'll have to cut or break out some of the slab to get it plumbed right.
Good luck!

well I am knocking down some walls so I might be able to get the tub drain to line up without breaking some floor. Is the drain smaller on a shower? or will it work for a tub?
