Is anybody familiar with the Totaline P110-0009 humidistat?
See it here at bottom of page:

I want to use it with an Aprilaire 550.
Any other info would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Phil

Go ahead and use it if you are planning putting this in the living area next to the t-stat.
Otherwise, if you are going to use it on the return, just stay with the basic one that comes with the unit.

Jay,
Thanks.... I do plan on using it in the living area and mounting it right next to the t-stat.
I'm hoping this will help keep the humidity correct while I'm away for extended stays. Turning the t-stat to its vacation setting isn't an option for me. If I adjust the plenum mounted humidistat on a warmer day and the temperature drops while I'm gone, I get too much humidity.
Is the hook-up pretty straight forward? Do I eliminate the existing humidistat?
Thanks again,
Phil

For what you want here Id put both of them up one on the wall buy the tstat and the other one that came with the unit on the duct return. Then wire them is series. This way they will both have to say ok to run are not to run. This will give you a better control of the humidity in the home. So you dont have an over run or an under run of humidity.
