I have framed in a bulkhead around a basement beam and had a drywall company tell me that I need to make corners along the bottom of the bulkhead. I agree, I bought a 20 gauge angle piece of metal to use along each bottome edge of the bulkhead. Does thsi make sense, will this work for drywall to attached?
Thanks.
Thanks.

You need it to be flush. Can't just attach an angle piece on the outside of your framing.
