how to install f-type cable connector

I ran a new cable line and need to install an f-type connector on both ends. I bought the kind that screws on vs. ones that need to be crimped. How do I go about attaching them -- i.e., how much of the black sheathing do I cut back, etc. ?

Well you should have 3/8" of the main core metal out and 1/4" of shielding pushed back so you have enough shielding so it can be threaded
