Flooring Tile - Tile up to base board or put base board over tile?

I would put the tile under the molding. If you put the tile up to the molding you will make the molding look smaller and most likely would have to put a caulk line where they meet. Plus if you wanted to change the molding it would be much easier if it rests on top of the tile.

I am not an expert in this field but I have done tile work and know that trying to cut tile to perfectly match the edge of the baseboard would be tough at best. Tile does not normally go "up against" anything. There is a small space left for expansion and contraction. Another unsightly fact would be the cut edges being exposed. I have always seen the tile under the baseboard. Good luck and watch this post for the experts directions.
