My brother in law and I installed a Honeywell HE260 Humidifier on or about 12/15/04. It worked on the first day we used it, however, soon after water was not being sent to the unit from the saddle valve that we had installed onto the cold line of the hot water tank. There is power to the unit. It is just that there is no water running from the saddle valve through the hose to the unit. I don't want to turn the saddle valve any more given that we did have water running to the unit on the first day. The valve is turned on above the saddle valve for the cold line and the hot water tank is working fine.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Dave

Did you undo the water line to make sure you have water flow?

Turn the valve off, and then undo the nut that holds the line to the valve.. Have a pail to catch the water. Some times on those self tapping valves will have debrees caught on it.
