Kenmore Powermate Vacuum-Roller doesn't Rotate

I caught a piece of material in the vacuum and it went into overload protection-the roller stops rotating. I got the material out and I reset the Overload Protection Switch but the roller does not rotate. I checked the bag and belt and they are okay.

did you check the belt to see it is intacted and/or attached
