electrical hook-up

This should be simple yet inexperience makes it difficult. Our chandelier has two wires gold in color, the box in the ceiling has black,red,white,and the ground. I hooked up one gold wire from the chandelier to the white, the other gold wire to the black, capped off the red, and the ground. I have three of the six lights on the chandelier working. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Armando,
-It would be most likely that the wires in the chandelier arms are marretted in groups of 3 , is it possible you only connected one group to the supply. or if theyre connected inside the body of the chandelier, one group has become separated from either line or neutral. :cool:
