Adding 2nd bathroom

We own a house that has only one bathroom. We also have a daughter who will be 13 soon so we desperately need to add on. The problem is our house has a slab foundation with no crawl space. My husband says that it is not possible to add a bathroom under these conditions. I say that there has got to be a way. We would need to do the job ourselves. Can anyone give me any insight on where I can get information on how to do this? Thanks.

Hi rondae,
- this a pretty daunting project, involving skills in drainage, concreting, framing, drywalling, plumbing and possibly roofing. I'm sure you could find all the necessary advice here. However having the tools and the skills may be a different matter. How many renovation or addition projects have you or husband done? :cool:
