We have two floor lamps with three-way fixtures. I've replaced the the fixtures inthe one lamp four times and in the other three. I've used Leviton from the corner hardware and from a lighting contracter supply house. I've even used commercial grade fixtures. I've also used Sylvania, Tungsram, GE, Philips, and Westinghouse bulbs. Heavy duty, long life and regular. No matter what, the three ways quit working after a couple months and I only have one level. For the fixtures themselves, sometimes jiggling the switch works and sometimes it doesn't.
So, is it me or the bulbs and fixtures just POS and failing that readily? :wall:
