Has anyone used the Edge Precizion Tile system that the big blue box store now carries? It's an interlock installation system that requires no adhesive on the floor. The literature claims the material can be used for above, at or below grade locations. I am looking at it for my below grade basement.

RUNNNNNNNN Do a google search "Edge precizion tile" and you will find several threads at other boards with nightmare experiences about it. If you read here or at any other site, you will find how we stress the need for a very stiff and strong subfloor for ceramic. Once you install a foam pad under it, even if it's a 6 foot thick slab, you no longer have a stiff subfloor. Ceramic does not give, it breaks. Have fun reading the threads you find, and don't waste your time with the advertisement type sites hyping how easy it is to install, visit the sites with masseage boards about problems.
