View Full Version : Replacing broken lamp colored glass
I have decorative simulated leaded glass dining room light fixture that had one of the pieces broken out of it. It appears that the piece that broke was made out of a hard plastic with a glass outer covering on both sides. The pliable lead or copper frame that held this small piece would determine its shape for me, but I dont know where to go to get the material to make it. It would also have to be colored in some way light gray) Any Ideas?

I'd swing by a local craft center and check out the stained/painted glass section. I've seen something that looks like lead on a roll with a self-adhesive side on it.....no soldering required. I think they also make it in copper as well. I think the only tools needed are a steady pair of hands and some scissors. Anyway, my best idea for this project!
Hope this helped!
thanks for the tip. Actually the lead is still OK. its the colored glass that is toast! Ill find a craft center and look.
