Trying to help my husband find some information before going to the expense of calling a technician. The inside air is running continiously and the outside unit cuts on and off continiously. I think that is what they call the compressor. The inside air does warm up.
Any suggestions or ideas where to begin our search?
Need to know quickly. It is Sunday and will be in the 20s down here tonight and 18 tomorrow.
Thanks.

Well sounds dumb. But say push the tstat down so out side unit is off.Ok blower is off at the tstat also. Now with the bower still running go and hit hard on the side of the blower unit there with your hand. See if it stops. the relays stick on some times. If not Take and pull G off at the tstat If both dont work its a new relay. look at the wire schematic on the blower door it will show you where the relay is. It dont hurt the blower to run 24/7.
