Wiring Question

I live in a house built in the late 50's, without ground wiring. I want to put in a new light fixture in the bathroom. The wiring box does not have a ground wire, but the new fixture has a copper ground wire. What should I do with the copper wire on the fixture?

If the box is metal, connect the grounding wire to the box. Otherwise, leave the grounding wire unconnected.
