We decided the laundry sink in our house (1-story w/attic) can benefit from a task light so we chose a recessed IC rated fixture. Further examination of the attic above the sink revealed that a "black" natural gas pipe passes by the location the light will be installed in, about 10 inches away. Moving the light will defeat its purpose.
The fixture is IC rated so should we be concerned about the proximity to the pipe? :confused:
