I finished my basement to the point of needing carpet and pad. I have a wood sub floor with a vented crawl space under the floor. The crawl space cannot be insulated or we develop mold. I live in a dry climate (Colorado). The floor is very cold in the winter. What is the best pad and carpet option to reduce the cold floor option? Also, is there a better option for flooring than carpet in this case?
