I fell in love with a shower idea I saw in a magazine. The homeowner got a galvanized feed tub and used that as the tub instead of a typical porclein tub.
She had a shower curtain around the top like the one I used to have when I had an antique claw footed tub.

Does anyone have any advise for me as to how I can build one in a new bathroom.

First question is to ask how often will you use this tub. If it is an everyday occurrence, it might be wise to see if this is acceptable by the plumbing codes in your area, and does it comprimise health with the skin exposure/ability to effectively clean.

Sounds like a stupid question with all the galvanized water lines in the USA. :wall:

We're actually going to use it mainly as a shower. We won't have enough space in the bathroom to get too large a tub.

We'll be building in a converted theater. It's a 1000 sq foot, rectangular, brick wall loft.
